1. Looking for stylish shoes to walk around DC in. Will there be a good choice?
They are quite comfortable but without socks, if your feet sweat at all they will become sticky. If you wear without socks I would suggest replacing the insole with something more firm because the thin layer that comes with it will shift fairly easily.
2. Are they pretty wide?
Yes, they are wide enough for socks but they are cut so they don’t slip off your foot while walking -even if you don’t wear socks.
3. Do they have memory foam inside?
No, they don’t.
4. What no-show socks do you wear with these?
I really haven’t tried no-show socks. But the old peds would probably work. Just enough to cover the toes and heel.
5. Would this shoe be a good non-slip/slip-resistant choice?
Yes, this shoe is quite slip-resistant. I tried it on my foyer floor which is porcelain tile, which is very slippery and I do not slide at all.
